Bio

 

Massachusetts Visual Artist Jon Moore works in drawing and photography . His work has been shown nationally and internationally including the Delhi Biennial Photo Festival, The Millepiani Gallery, Rome,Italy, The Makery Gallery, Los Angeles, CA and The Mills Gallery, Boston Center for the Arts, Boston, MA. 

 

Jon holds an MFA from Rutgers University where he studied studio art with painter Leon Golub and and artist Geoff Hendricks. He has taught photography and Photoshop at The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley College, drawing at Massachusetts College of Art and design at Northeastern University, Boston 

 

In 2014, he founded the Cape Photo Collective, a group of contemporary art photographers working in southeastern MA.  Recent book projects include Drawings 76-26  and Interval Observations on Photography,  Art and Metaphysics. He lives and works in North Falmouth, Massachusetts.setts
